Strong spirits: curious?
There is one thing that you will never fully understand, but which is worth a lifetime of curiosity and investigation.
Are you a curious person?
If something big is going on, do you need to investigate? Do you need to know all the details? Does it drive you nuts not to know?
Life is full of wonders and mysteries. The news is full of stories - good and bad - that beg for our attention. No matter how curious you are, you don't have time to satisfy your curiosity about everything.
There is one thing that you will never fully understand, but which is worth a lifetime of curiosity and investigation. That one thing is God himself, as revealed to us in the person of Jesus Christ. One of the reasons Jesus came to earth was to reveal to all of us who God is. At one point, he said to his followers, "If you have seen me, you've seen the Father." (John 14:9). Paul wrote about Jesus, "He is the image of the invisible God. (Colossians 1:15).
If there is a God, and I believe with all my heart that there is, what could be a better use of your time than finding out everything you can about him? Take time to ask him your questions (prayer). Take time to read his story (the Bible).
His promise is this: "You will seek me, and you will find me, when you seek me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13). Start seeking! What an adventure will be yours! Need help? Let me know...
