The South Beloit SOBOs delivered an overwhelming performance Friday night , crushing Christian Life/Keith Country Day 70–0 in a conference matchup that showcased every bit of their speed, physicality, and depth.

With the win, South Beloit improves to 3–2 overall and a perfect 3–0 in the 8‑Man Northeast Conference, firmly placing themselves in the driver’s seat for the conference title. The SOBOs have already defeated both teams tied for second place earlier this season, giving them full control of their championship path.

Friday’s blowout was complete from the opening whistle — South Beloit scored early, often. The defense forced repeated short fields, while the offense piled on points behind a relentless ground attack and efficient passing game. By halftime, the SOBOs were already well on their way to their largest margin of victory of the season.

Next Up: Orangeville Broncos (Oct. 17, 2026)

South Beloit now turns its attention to the Orangeville Broncos, who come in struggling at 1–4 overall and 0–3 in conference play. The Broncos have battled injuries and inconsistency all season, making this a matchup the SOBOs are heavily favored to control.

A win on October 17 would push South Beloit to 4–0 in conference play and place them one step away from clinching the 2026 Northeast Conference crown.

The SOBOs are rolling — and the conference title is theirs to lose.
