Scenes from the Truck or Treat Halloween party in Porter Park
A perfect day for a Halloween extravaganza at Porter Park, sponsored by the Village of Roscoe.

Families walked across the bridge at Porter Park in Roscoe on Saturday, October 18, into a land of ghosts, goblins, fairies and superhero. It wasn't just the children in costumes, many adults dressed up and got into the Halloween spirit.
Every year for the past four years, Village of Roscoe employees Janel Reidinger and Anne Hanson have worked tirelessly to make Truck or Treat in Roscoe an unforgettable event. Businesses and organizations are invited to participate in the activities, donate their time and talents, and enjoy an afternoon of fun and family entertainment. Admission is free.

Village of Roscoe employees Janel Reidinger and Anne Hanson created the event in 2022. " This year's annual Truck or Treat was our biggest one yet!"Janel said. "Each year this event continues to grow. We could not have done it without our incredible community partners and generous sponsors who make it all possible. Thank you for bringing the fun to Roscoe. We can't wait to see you again next year."
