Each year, Roscoe VFW Post 2955 honors veterans of the past and the present with a parade and memorial ceremony at the Roscoe Cemetery, 5949 Harrison Street at 6th Street near Broad Street.

Harlem Roscoe Fire Department members marched in the VFW Memorial Day parade and observed the ceremony at the Roscoe Cemetery on May 26, 2025. VFW Post 2955 Commander Bill Graves and several veterans and auxiliary members laid flowers and wreaths on the graves of fallen veterans.
Following the Memorial Day presentation at the cemetery, everyone was invited to a picnic lunch at Leland Park, sponsored by Hope Evangelical Free Church in Roscoe.
