Roscoe Public Safety Building dedicated to Chief Jamie Evans
In 24 years of service, Evans served Roscoe in every level of law enforcement.
In thanks for a job well done, The Village of Roscoe trustees and the Roscoe Police Department recently erected new signage on the front of the station at 10595 Main Street. The sign reads: The Jamie Ray-Evans Public Safety Building, honoring former Police Chief Jamie Evans for her service to the community.
Evans recently retired after 24 years of service to Roscoe. She has served Roscoe in every level of law enforcement, including patrol, lieutenant, detective, and chief.
She was appointed chief by former Roscoe Mayor Dave Krienke.
Evans retired due to health issues, but plans to remain active in the community as an advocate for cancer research and mental health issues.
A farewell reception was held April 13, 2023 at Mary’s Market in Roscoe. Members of the Harlem Roscoe Fire Department, fellow police personnel, and lots of friends and family attended the open house.
