The annual Fall Festival, presented by the Roscoe Lions Club, has become synonymous with the end of summer and the beginning of the fall season for families in Roscoe and surrounding communities. The event has been held every year since 1901, except for COVID. This year, the three-day event will again be held in Leland Park, 10701 Third Street in Roscoe, from September 5 through Sunday, September 7. Admission is free. This year marks the 55th anniversary of the management of the festival by the Roscoe Lions Club.

Friday, September 5, is opening day for the 2025 Fall Festival. The midway opens at 5:00 pm, and will feature Skinner's Amusement rides and games, a variety of food stands, Poison Ivy Pub tent, offering beer at the Lions Cafe, and the Bingo tent. Country band, Rollin Whiskey, takes the main stage, 6-9:00 pm. The midway closes at 10:00 pm.

Kid's Day on the Midway is Saturday, September 6. Children are invited to dress in costumes or come as they are for the costume parade at 10:30 am. Special prizes will be awarded to costume winners in two age groups: One to five years and six to 10 years. Winners are invited to participate in Sunday's big parade down Main Street. All participants receive one free ride ticket. It is also the day for reduced ride tickets. For $30, kids can purchase a wristband for all rides, beginning at 11:30 am, which is valid for four hours.

Musical entertainment begins Friday evening with country music by country band, Rollin' Whiskey on the Main Stage, 6-10:00 pm. The Lion's Bingo tent will be open 6-9:00 pm.

Saturday will feature Karaoke from 12-4:00 pm. Johnny West and Friends will host amateur entertainers on the Main Stage, 12 noon to 4:00 pm. Sound provided by Steve Peek - Sound Investments. All proceeds go to Vets Roll.

From 6-10:00 pm, Dead Man's Hand, a southern rock, blues, and classic rock band will perform on the Main stage.

The Lions Cafe and Poison Ivy Pub beer tent open at noon each day. The Lions' Club Bingo tent will be open 1:00-9:00 pm. The Bingo tent is open 1-9:00 pm.

Hungry families can breakfast on all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage for $8.50 at Leland Park from 7-9:45 am on Sunday, September 7, hosted by the Roscoe United Methodist Men. Following breakfast, grab a lawn chair or blanket and have a seat for the annual Lions Festival parade. The VFW Color Guard steps off at precisely 11:00 am at Bridge and Main Street. Marching bands, floats, dignitaries, and Lions' members will follow the parade route up Main Street to Leland Park.

Lola Blu , a "Rockin Alternative Country Band," takes the stage Sunday, 3-7:00 pm on Sunday. Following Lola Blu, the Lions Club grand prize drawing winners will be announced on the Main Stage. Tickets can be purchased at the festival or from any Lions club member. The grand prize is $3,000 cash. Second prize is $1,500 cash. The third cash prize is $1,000. Extra prizes of $50.00 will also be awarded. The Bingo tent is open 1-7:00 pm

Stop by the business and service tent and check out dozens of small businesses and organizations in the area. Stop by and shake hands with local political candidates. The tent will be open throughout the festival.
