Dave Neiber had a passion for old cars, especially Studebakers
Celebration of Life dinner will be held at Historic Auto Attractions after the service.

David (Dave) Neiber loved restoring and rebuilding old cars. He enjoyed attending car shows around the Roscoe area, as well as in California, where he and his family once lived.
He was born to parents Sevarus and Katherine Neiber on September 6, 1943. Dave was raised in Rockford. He graduated from West High School in 1961 and attended college at UW-Platteville.
Dave passed away peacefully in his home on July 7, 2025, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Dave married Donna Zellgert on October 5, 1968, in Oakland, California. The couple had two children, Christina Neiber and Michael Neiber. The family moved from California to Roscoe in 1986. He owned a dry cleaning and laundry business in California as well as in Roscoe for many years.
His love of classic cars, especially Studebakers, was well known. He could often be found in his driveway or garage, under the hood of a vintage car. He was the president of the Studebaker Drivers Club. The club met at the Historic Auto Attractions Museum in Roscoe. Wayne Lensing said his jaw dropped when he saw well over 50 Studebaker owners pull into the parking lot for the club meeting.
