Firefighter death

- On Sunday night, May 31, 2026, Harlem-Roscoe firefighter/ paramedic John Morgan, age 53, began feeling ill while on duty at Station #3 on Willowbrook Road. Later his shift partner found him unresponsive and not breathing. His team was unable to resuscitate him. At 10:03 p.m. the Winnebago County Coroner's Office pronounced him dead of natural causes.
