If you’ve ever longed to participate in an Ironman race, you’ll get your chance on Sunday, sort of, at the spectator party at Setttlers Park. Downtown Rockton will provide shopping opportunities, a non-athletic obstacle course, and cowbells to cheer on the bicyclists. Inflatable costumes are welcome but optional. No other effort is required.

Wednesday: Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 4 p.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 75. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
Wednesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7 pm, then a slight chance of showers between 7 p.m. and 1 a.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
