- DeeDee Weiser will still be around, but she is selling her Downtown Rockton coffee shop to Christy and Jake Krupa of Buckets n Blooms, which moved into the coffeehouse space last spring. Deedee is teaching Jake how to make the drinks. More news to come.
- Besides tasty food, Sebastian's Cafe in Roscoe now offers lattes, matchas, iced coffee & other drinks.
- At last night's Village of Roscoe meeting, Rodolfo Gonzalez & Alidia Smith were sworn in as Village of Roscoe police officers and President Carol Gustafson nominated Randall Woehler to fill a vacancy on the Board of Trustees. ”However,“ says Village Administrator Joe Kurlinkus, “no action was taken by the Board to confirm the nomination.”
