Legos and circuits, career fair, honor

When you're a first grader, science, technology, and engineering might mean Legos and circuits. Mrs. Cutler at Ledgewood School and her class received an IEA Score grant for the school.

Thursday, April 3 is Hononegah's annual Career & Education Fair from 6 - 8 p.m. in the Main Gym. This is open to the public, all ages welcome. Please enter through the Fieldhouse’s main entrance. This event will feature approximately 50 companies from a wide range of industries, providing valuable insights into career pathways, employment opportunities, job shadowing, internships, and educational programs. Some employers will even be conducting on-site interviews for available positions. If you've ever thought about getting involved with Rockton-Roscoe News, come talk with us.
Congratulations to Mrs. Cutler, a first grade teacher at Ledgewood School, for applying for and receiving an IEA Score grant for STEM Lego kits and Snap Circuit kits. These items can be shared across classrooms and will soon be available for other teachers to check out.
Jessie Wieland of Roscoe, has been named to the 2024 fall trimester Dean's List at Palmer College of Chiropractic's Main Campus in Davenport, Iowa.
