- On Saturday, 11 Roscoe-area Cub Scouts from Pack 6202 participated in the Blackhawk Area Council Pinewood Derby at Rock Valley College. One local Scout got a big trophy for winning his age group in the 70 year old non-motorized, unmanned, handmade wooden car race.
- Hunter United Methodist Church in Caledonia is hosting a pork roast dinner on Thursday, April 10, 2025. This means all you can eat roast pork, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, salad, rolls, assorted desserts and coffee. They will be serving from 4 - 7 p.m. The cost is $15 for dine-in (discounts for children) with option for take-outs.
