  • The Hononegah school board has given its approval for the establishment of a student-led club associated with the late Charlie Kirk’s organization Turning Point USA,
  • Rockton weatherman Mark Henderson will become the new Community Development Director for the Village of Rockton, effective December 1. He says he won’t give up predicting the weather, though. So when you decide to attend an outdoor Rockton event in the future, you can be pretty sure you won’t get rained on.
  • The Rockton-Roscoe Rotary Club has given more than 40 books to Shirland School in this year’s Rotary Literacy Grant, all winners of the Bluestem Award as chosen by young Illinois book lovers in grades 3-5.
