South Beloit fire chief Scott Fisher resigns
Mr. Fisher submitted his resignation after 8 days as fire chief, citing his desire to pre-retire to Alaska and that South Beloit’s most important resource is its personnel.

Mark Henderson reflects on his new role as the Community Development Director for the Village of Rockton
“One of the favorite parts of my previous job was being involved in the community, and so I feel that this position allows me to be involved in a different, yet still very meaningful way.”

The Stateline Chamber of Commerce has restructured their awards program to allow final voting of winners to be determined by the public instead of the Chamber.
