Lunch detentions follow Hononegah student walkout
Days after a student walkout at Hononegah High School, questions continue to surface regarding disciplinary actions, and communication to families.

- Today five educators in grades 6 through 12 in Boone and Winnebago County will be surprised by a visit and an award from the Golden Apple Award Foundation. Four of the twenty finalists - Hayley Goetzsche, Amy Kuo, Dana Freedlund, and Kelsey Zammuto - teach in far northern Illinois: at Roscoe Middle School, Kinnikinnick School, Willowbrook Middle School, and Hononegah Community High School.
