Did you think robotics was all electrons and silicon? Inconceivable! The Stateline Robotics team came in third at the Peoria competition, not including any awards for Best Dressed Team.

Stateline Robotics is headed to First Robotics World Championships in Houston for the second year in a row. Now they need to raise money for their April 16-19, 2025 trip. The team of Hononegah students qualified for the international competition based on their performance in Peoria (third place). The team is now ranked 6th in Illinois and 216th in the world out of over 3,500 teams. At the Peoria competition, they received the Autonomous Award for the first time. Roscoe Restaurant Week is happening this year from April 11 to April 19 and we'll be covering it. The celebration lets you experience special menu items and unbeatable prices that aren’t typically available. Participating restaurants include fan favorites such as Louie's Tap House, Firehouse Pub, Sophia's, Jessica's, Mary's Market, Poison Ivy Pub and Whiskey Hotel Barbecue. The punch card will reward you for exploring all participating locations. Get a punch at every restaurant you visit, and once you have four participating restaurants, you'll have a chance to win fantastic prizes, such as gift cards for more food.
