Daily life for a principal, fire at Nygren Wetlands

In the news
- Norah Sturm was Principal for a Day on Wednesday at Kinnikinnick School. She announced that students and staff should wear pajamas to school for Pajama Day. She performed many of the daily duties of a principal, such as shredding papers, making copies, helping with the car line, recording the daily announcements, and changing the outdoor sign. Also, Harlem-Roscoe Fire gave her a ride in a fire truck, she was interviewed on the radio, and she hosted Hammy the Ice Hogs mascot for 5th grade lunch and recess. She and Principal Amber Miller had a Culver’s lunch and finished their day by painting kindness rocks together.
- The parking lot and trails at Nygren Wetlands in Rockton will be closed today so staff can perform some prescribed burns. Trails will be reopened as soon as it's safe to do so.
