- Macktown Living History is considering a new fall event, Macktown After Dark, open to a limited number of adults by advance purchase only. With volunteers to highlight each building, attendees would experience the unique atmosphere of the lit-up buildings at night. What do you think? - The Rockton Fire Protection District is seeking a candidate for their Board of Trustees, to serve a two-year term beginning in June. Trustees meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. Interested candidates shall provide a valid driver’s license with proof of residency (within the fire district boundaries) and a signed letter of interest with contact information. Submissions must be turned in by mail or in person no later than May 9, 2025.
- Roscoe Restaurant Week runs from April 11 to April 19, with special menu items and prices from fan favorites such as Louie's Tap House, Firehouse Pub, Sophia's, Jessica's, Mary's Market, Poison Ivy Pub and Whiskey Hotel Barbecue.
