Frenchman’s Frolic, one important thing

- Today is the last day of Frenchman’s Frolic at Macktown Living History.
- Wednesday evening, South Beloit police officers found a woman at a residence who had been beaten to the point of unconsciousness. The suspect, Aquaylis R. Moore of South Beloit, already had a no contact order with the victim after a judge had released him in March, pending trial for domestic battery and assault with a deadly weapon. In April he was charged with resisting arrest and fleeing police. Police located and arrested Moore on Friday, October 17 on charges of attempted homicide and aggravated domestic battery. He is being held in Rock County Jail in Janesville and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
