  • The City of South Beloit (and other nearby municipalities) have declared a snow emergency for Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 2 p.m. until Sunday. November 30, 2025 at noon. That means don’t park on the street until it’s over. This includes trash cans and recycling carts. If you don’t pay attention, your vehicle could be towed and/or charged $75 a day. Steve Haas, City of South Beloit Streets Superintendent, says, “We take a lot of pride in clearing our roads. Please be patient with our crew and remove vehicles from roadways so we can work as cautiously and quickly as possible. Stay safe."
