- Limitless Martial Arts (Team No Limit) recently competed in their first official tournament in Stevens Point, WI and are now ranked 7th out of 41 schools in the region. Master Will Nevitt, already a two time world champion at age 25, recently acquired the studio, which is located next to the Dairy Queen in Roscoe.
- The Roscoe VFW is organizing this year's Memorial Day parade. Past Post Commander Ruben Hernandez met with representatives of the Roscoe Police and Harlem-Roscoe Fire Department and is very happy with the plan. The parade will take a shorter route from Bridge and Main to Broad Street and up to Roscoe Cemetery. Parade participants need to get their information and details to the VFW by April 30. No throwing candy from floats, only from those walking on the side of the road close to parade watchers.
- The Church by the Side of the Road in Rockton welcomes a new pastor, Steve St. Clair. Besides being a popular wedding venue, the church has regular services on Sundays at 10 a.m.
