Join the Rockton Historic Preservation Commission for the final historic walking tour in a three part series focusing on Rockton’s National Historic District, established in 1978. The district is significant because of the high concentration of Greek Revival buildings, from the late 1830s to the 1850s.
The free tours will all start at the Old Stone Church, 101 E. Union, Rockton at 11 a.m. The second and third tours are scheduled for May 4 and June 1.
This tour is hosted by the Rockton Historic Preservation Commission in conjunction with research from the Rockton Township Historical Society.
