The Rockton Christmas Walk promises a bright start to the season with the return of traditional fun.

Bring your family and friends to discover three days, with something for everyone, from Friday, December 5  , through Sunday, December 7.

Friday's festivities start with the Friends of Talcott Library's book sale from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

Stop by and shop for gently used books, DVD, and miscellaneous items from 9-3 on Saturday, and on Monday from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Buckets and Blooms invites everyone to make a 3D print ornament, free with any purchase.

Friday night action moves to Settler's Park as the sounds of the season will be heard from the talented Willowbrook Middle School choir.

Encompassing the Christmas spirit, Rockton Village President John Peterson will light a spectacular tree and the lighted displays created by local businesses.

Adults are welcome to get into the spirit of the holiday season at an Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl, with the fun starting at 8 p.m. Pick up a punch card at any of eight locations to get stamped. Leave your card at your last stop and wait to hear if you are the winner of one of eight prizes!

Businesses will welcome shoppers searching for that perfect gift, or getting something to eat or drink.

Buckets n Blooms on N. Blackhawk is offering a 3D printed ornament with any purchase.

Felix and Fingers-Dueling pianos, coming back to the Rockton American Legion on Friday evening. Showtime is at 8 p.m., doors open at 7.Tickets can be purchased at Eventbrite link on the Christmas Walk website.

Start your Saturday off right by attending the Rockton Lions “Breakfast with Santa” where he will make his first appearance of the day.

Enjoy all you can eat pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee from 7 to 11 a.m. No ticket purchase is required but free will donations will gladly be accepted. All of the donations that come in from the breakfast will be used to support local families through Wimpy's Fund.

Find the best in baked goods and Christmas decor, plus a “Name Your Price” sale at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Saturday from 9 a.m until 3.

Stop by the Rockton Township Historical Society where unique finds will offer awesome décor and unique gift giving ideas from 9 a.m .until 4 p.m.

Santa makes his next stop in the warm and cozy environment of the Rockton Village Hall. He will hear wishes of all ages. Photos with Santa can capture these memories from noon until 4.

Express your wishes by writing letters to Santa at Edward Jones Financial Advisor Brenda Brugger's office from noon until 4.

Relive festive splendor on horse drawn carriage rides from 12-4. Hop on at 203 W. Main St.

The River City Sound Chorus Sweet Adelines are creating beautiful music in the warm friendly atmosphere of After the Vine from 1-3 p.m.

On Saturday night the Whitman Post Choir will delight all with singing of Christmas tunes.
Join the Cronin family in honoring Katie's memory with the reading of a dedication poem and lighting of Katie's Tree.

Katie Cronin oversaw decorating of the Village Green Park with a strong volunteer base, through the Our Town Committee in 1987.

Let your imagination soar while painting a make and take paper mache fish ornament at Jill Rae Finally Art. The cost to create a one of a kind piece is $8.

Taylor in Max will welcome Winters & Company-Voices of the Holiday season to spread even more Christmas cheer.

Sunday action includes the eighth annual hot cocoa crawl from 12- 3 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Village hall to receive a commemorative mug with a lid for $10. This year's mug is sporting a whole new look!
Visit LaCroute Bakery, Wicked Sweets by Kate, DeeDees Main St. Coffee and Decor, Dairyhaus, Rockton Inn, Sugar Britches, Al's Main St. Tap and Ye Olde Pub to try original cocoa recipes, and vote for your favorite flavor.

The Gem Shop and Diamond 'Source is hosting a Winter Princess Meet and Greet from 12 until 3.

Taylor and Max invite those who have sensory sensitivity to “A Moment with Sensitive Santa” from 12-3 p.m.

Learn about “Christmas at Macktown” time honored traditions and more on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.

Visit historic sites during the “Historic Homes for the Holidays” tour featuring the homes organizer, Diana Weiser along with the Wagoner, Meichtry and Hansmeier families.
Take this three hour tour beginning at 4 p.m , complete with visits, refreshments and booties to wear.
