Jerry, longtime resident of Rockton, IL, is also a long-time musician and guitarist. His repertoire includes the 1965 hit song by The Mamas & the Papas from which his exhibit gets its name.
He says about his "neon drawings," "I create the colorful vibe of Boho Hippy Art for the unique individual. I take my inspiration from the Art Nouveau of the 1890's Paris and 1960's Haight-Ashbury scene. Boho Art once again thrives among those who walk the path less traveled."
JR Finally Art represents 24 local and regional artists who work in a variety of media including oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media paintings, pottery, photography, stained glass and fine craft. The gallery also offers handmade gift items and note cards. Various classes are available for groups and individuals.
