Rock’n and roll’n on the Main Stage at Fall Festival, 2023
The Roscoe Fall Festival features three local bands, including STEREOtype at 3:30 on Sunday.
Popular bands from around the northern Illinois area will take to the Main Stage at the Roscoe Lions Club Fall Festival throughout the weekend of September 8-10, 2023 at Leland Park in Roscoe, Illinois.
Admission is free.
The OGMC kicks off the music scene on Friday evening. The four-piece cover band will be on stage 6 - 10 p.m., playing interactive music that offers their audience the opportunity to play and sing with them.
In July 2023 and 2022, The OGMC entertained the crowd at Rockton River Market. They play every Thursday night at Neighbors Bar and Grill in Loves Park, IL.
Two young ladies, Kevin & Greg, otherwise known as Kelsey and Grace Schultz, will be playing with the band. The young ladies were mentored by Dan Tritten, musician and spokesperson with The OGMC, and Roscoe Lions Club member.
The band specializes in country and classic rock.
Everybody loves karaoke. Whether you plan to sing or just listen, the music genre is always entertaining.
Karaoke by Johnny West & Friends will be on the Main Stage from 12 - 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 9. Everyone will have an opportunity to showcase their vocal talents.
All proceeds from the event will go to VetsRoll, a charitable organization whose mission is to honor America’s most senior Veterans with the opportunity to travel to Washington DC at no cost.
Dead Man’s Hand- (DMH) “The Mad Scientists of Northern Illinois,” appears on Saturday evening, September 9. The concert begins at 6 p.m. and ends when the festival grounds close at 10 p.m.
The four-piece cover band is made up of musicians from the northern Illinois area, featuring Heith Gruner. They play Southern Rock, blues and Classic Rock.
Sunday evening is the closing night of the 2023 Lions Club Fall Festival.
The high energy band STEREOtype, with Cody Clark, Bill Swick, Gage Stringer, Milo Vidal and Danny Grams from the Rockford area, will be playing everything from pop, punk, to pop rock.
The band frequently play at Neighbors Bar and Grill in Loves Park, IL.
STEREOtype will be on the Main Stage, 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10.
According to Roscoe Lions Club organizer Gladys Hibbard, fireworks will not be closing out the festival this year.
