Rock River Rampage obliterates Wolves 58–0, storms into NLFL Championship
The Rock River Rampage didn’t just win their opening-round NLFL playoff game Saturday night — they authored a full-on demolition.
Rampage 58, Central Wisconsin Wolves 0. That’s not a typo. That’s a statement.
From the opening whistle at the Rockton Athletic Field, the Rampage played like a team determined to punch its ticket to the championship, and they wasted no time proving it.
A first quarter for the ages
Deion Sanders set the tone early, jumping a route for an interception and taking it to the house. Just like that, Rampage led 8–0 with 10 minutes left in the first quarter.
Moments later, the Rampages quarterback uncorked a deep bomb to Tra’ Harper, who hauled it in stride for another score. Rampage 16–0 — and still plenty of time left in the opening frame.
Then came the play that sent the home crowd into a frenzy: Arkise Sturdivant read the Wolves’ quarterback perfectly, snatched the ball, and sprinted untouched for a pick-six. Rampage 24–0 at the end of the first quarter, and the Wolves looked stunned.
Relentless pressure, relentless scoring
Sanders wasn’t done. Early in the second quarter he grabbed another interception, setting up yet another Rampage touchdown. The scoreboard flipped to 32–0, and the Wolves had no answers.
With 1:29 left in the half, the Rampage punched in another score to make it 38–0. The crowd stayed loud, the defense stayed hungry, and the offense kept rolling.
Tre Hatchett powered in a second-half touchdown to stretch the lead to 50–0, and Drew King added an interception to cap off the defensive clinic. By the time the final horn sounded, the Rampage stood victorious at 58–0, one of the most dominant playoff performances in team history.

A community moment: Two bikes, two big smiles
Beyond the scoreboard, the Rampage made sure the night belonged to the community as well. Thanks to Harrells All Out Services LLC, two brand-new bicycles were given away — one to a young boy and one to a young girl. Their smiles were every bit as memorable as the Rampage’s on-field fireworks.
Next stop: The Fox River Raiders
With the win, the Rampage advance to the NLFL Championship, where they’ll face the Fox River Raiders. If Saturday night was any indication, the Rampage are peaking at exactly the right time.
Roscoe and Rockton — buckle up. The Rampage are one win away from bringing home the title.
