Hononegah’s march through the postseason continued Wednesday night as the Indians delivered a complete, overwhelming performance in a 32–0 shutout of Prairie Ridge to claim the IHSA Regional Championship. From the opening whistle, Hononegah’s defense suffocated the Wolves, while the offense executed with precision and poise.

Quarterback Layla Demke played like a seasoned veteran, completing 9 of 13 passes for 66 yards and three touchdowns, adding two 1‑point conversions. She was equally dangerous on the ground, rushing 13 times for 89 yards and a touchdown, repeatedly breaking contain and turning designed runs into explosive gains.
