Joan Boutiller directed the group of women singing Christmas and traditional four- part harmony arrangements. Visitors gathered in the Village Hall throughout the afternoon. The musical ladies placed 14th in a recent international competition in Phoenix, AZ."
Michael McGinnis reports, "It was stop-and-go traffic, sometimes, for patrons wanting to taste Rockton's finest hot drinks in the 5th annual Hot Cocoa Crawl. The recipe at DeeDee's Main Street Coffee & Decor (above) was praised for its "chocolateliness," while festival goers also waited in line (sometimes) at the Dairyhäus (below), at Sugar Britches, and at Kelley's Market. The Mix's caramel toasted marshmallow flavor was voted the winner.
