Roscoe will welcome congressional candidate Paul Nolley this coming week as he continues his town hall tour across the 16th District. Nolley, a Rockford native who now lives in Roscoe, is the Democratic nominee for Congress and currently serves as Director of Project First Rate, a regional workforce initiative connecting young people in nine counties with careers in the building trades.
His family is deeply rooted in public service — his wife teaches in Rockford Public Schools, and together they’re raising two young children here in the Stateline.
Nolley says he’s running because he understands what working families face every day and wants to make things better for the people who keep this region moving. He’s held town halls across the district throughout the summer and fall, and he’s especially looking forward to this hometown stop.
