Concerts, vendors, midway rides. The largest fundraiser of the year for Rockton Lions charities. The event includes music, food & drinks, a carnival, a mobile blood drive, a 5K Run for Carrie Lynn, and the OSD Parade.

1 - 8 p.m. - Rock River Valley Blood Drive – Rockton American Center/American Legion, 221 W. Main Street. Give blood, get a 4 Day General Admission Festival Pass. Donate a pair of eyeglasses for a second pass.
4 - 11 p.m. - Festival Vendors, Information Booth, 50/50 Raffle Tickets and Food Booths open
4 - 11 p.m. - Apex Beer Tent open, with music

CARNIVAL
The regional favorite Skinners Amusements is a family owned and operated carnival from Crystal Lake, founded in 1910. Their rides are fully insured and state inspected, maintained monthly and checked daily for safety.
Most rides cost 2-5 tickets.
Carnival Hours:
Thursday: 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. - $25 Wristband Special from 5:00 – 9 p.m.
Friday: 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Saturday: 1 p.m. – 11 p.m. - $25 Wristband Special from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: 2 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. - $1 tickets with reduced prices per ride (example: a 3 ticket ride will be 2 tickets)
Carnival wristbands are good only the day of purchase, and for the length of the advertised special, usually 3-4 hours.
Everyone who rides a carnival ride (parents and children) will require a ticket, even parents riding with their toddlers. Please check with ride height requirements prior to purchasing carnival tickets. All children will require a ticket – some rides require two riders.
Directions
Old Settlers Days is located at Settlers Park, 150 E Hawick Street, Rockton, IL, one block off Main Street from First National Bank and Trust/Macktown State Bank, in Downtown Rockton, IL. It is across the street from The Mix, After the Vine, and Sanctuary Spa.
From the south/east (Rockford/Chicago) or from the north (WI): From I-90, exit on Rockton Road, turn west about 3.5 miles. Rockton Road becomes Union Street at the Hwy 2 intersection. Park at Hononegah High School.
From the south (Rockford) from 251: Travel north to Hononegah Road. Turn left on Hononegah Road. Travel about 3 miles. The road becomes Main Street after the bridge that crosses Hwy 2. Park at Hononegah High School.
From Hwy 2: Travel north, turn right at Rockton Road/Union Street. Park at Hononegah High School.
From the north (Beloit/Janesville/Madison): Travel south on I-90, exit at Rockton Road. Turn right (west) on Rockton Road and travel about 3.5 miles. Rockton Road becomes Union Street at the Hwy 2 intersection. Park at Hononegah High School.
From the west (Freeport): Take Hwy 75 east to Meridian Road, turn left (north). Travel to Shirland Road and turn right (east). Shirland Road turns into Rockton Road/Union Street as you enter Rockton. Turn right on Main Street (stop lights) and travel a few blocks to Salem Street/Hononegah High School.
Parking
There is NO cost for parking. It is recommended that you use the free parking provided at Hononegah High School (307 Salem Street). SMTD provides a free shuttle to the festival grounds. But the main entrance of the festival is a short walk west on Main Street from that parking lot.
Parking restrictions have been established on the perimeter streets of festival grounds to ensure the safety of pedestrian traffic and emergency vehicle access.
Handicapped parking is being offered at the parking lot on the corner of Blackhawk and Hawick Streets, near The Mix. Vehicles using this location must display a valid handicapped parking placard.
Shuttle
Your friends at Stateline Mass Transit District (SMTD) will once again be providing free Park and Ride shuttle service at OSD. This free shuttle service is available between the parking lot at Hononegah High School and the festival’s main gate. The shuttle service is ideal for visitors who are unable to park close to the festival grounds. Festival attendees can ride the free SMTD shuttle for convenience and to avoid parking hassles.
