OFF PROBATION: Firefighter/EMT Savannah Laub Secures Her Place in Rockton
Looking at her record and the professionalism she brings to the station, it’s easy to see why.
There is a particular kind of grit it takes to wear the badge of the Rockton Fire Protection District. It means sleepless nights, heavy gear, and answering the call when our neighbors need help the most. For anyone stepping into that uniform, the probationary period is the ultimate test—a rigorous proving ground designed to separate the dedicated from the rest.
I’m proud to report that Firefighter and EMT-B Savannah Laub has officially passed that test with flying colors.
Effective November 1st, Savannah has successfully completed all necessary requirements of the fire district and has officially been taken off probation. Earning your permanent place on the force doesn’t happen by accident; it takes long hours, unwavering focus, and a deep-seated commitment to the community we all call home.
The Rockton Fire Protection District shared their well-earned pride in Savannah's milestone, noting how appreciative they are of her dedication. Looking at her record and the professionalism she brings to the station, it’s easy to see why.
On behalf of the entire team here at the Rockton-Roscoe News and our local community, congratulations on this achievement, Savannah. Thank you for watching over Rockton, and we are proud to have you on the front lines.
