Obituary: Timothy I. Michael (1958-2021)
Memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Honquest Loves Park.
Timothy I. Michael, 62, of Roscoe, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021. He was born on July 26, 1958, in Chicago Heights, to Ralph Edward and Anne Loraine (Brigham) Michael. Timothy was employed with Motorola-Continental for 40 years. He married the love of his life, Xiuling Peng, in April 2017. Timothy had a passion for playing the guitar and played in several bands. He enjoyed driving his race cars and making model airplanes, cars, and helicopters.
Survivors include his wife, Xiuling Peng; children, Collin Michael, Erik Michael, JoAnne (Stevie) Mehalic, and Arielle (Jacob) Michael; step-daughter, Se Ye "Carol"; grandchildren, Ayden Charles Stoddard and twin grandchildren arriving in August; siblings, Pamela Anne Michael, Tom Owen (Kim Bierbaum) Michael, Scott Franklin (S.O., Carla) Michael, and Christopher Stevens (S.O., Rebecca) Michael; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and infant twin siblings, Jack and Jill.
A celebration-of-life memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, IL 61111, with Chaplain Diane Hussey officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Any financial gifts will purchase a tree to plant in Tim's honor. The celebration-of-life memorial service will be available to view on their YouTube channel directly following the service.
