Obituary: John Midtsem (1931-2021)

John Midtsem, 89, of Roscoe, passed away October 7, 2021. He was the beloved husband for 67 years to Jo Ann Midtsem, née Agrifoglio; loving father of Jennifer (Glenn) Smith, Clayton (Cathy) Midtsem, Elizabeth (Jon) Cook, Claire Midtsem, Lorena Midtsem; grandfather of Carlton and Brandon Smith and Kelly, Erin, and Kurt Midtsem; great grandfather to five; also survived by his sisters, Helen Hilliard and Lillian Cassier.
Midtsem was born November 25, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Connie Midtsem.
Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church in Rockford, 5304 Charles Street on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 10:00 - 11:00 am with a service to follow. For information, call the church office at 815-395-0550. Honquest Family Funeral Homes is assisting the family.
