Meet Steve Schreier: candidate for Roscoe Township Highway Commissioner
Steve Schreier wants to be the next Township Highway Commissioner.

Steve Schreier is running for Roscoe Township Highway Commissioner in the April 1 election. Check out all our candidate profiles in our expanded 2025 Election Guide for Roscoe, Rockton, and South Beloit.
My wife and I have 3 children in our wonderful schools. I have been in manufacturing and distribution for over 30 years. My wife is one of the busiest people I know. She splits her time working for our church’s youth program, running the kids to basketball, baseball, football, wrestling, cheer and all the after-hour school programs.
Even with busy schedules, we were both raised with a sense of duty. Whether it was my service to the U.S. Navy, my time as Road Commissioner for Roscoe Township or our volunteer positions on the board of RRL Jr. Indians Football & Cheer. We continue to try and live our lives in the service of others.
Eight years ago, our community sent a message to the self-dealing political machine of the past and voted for change. Once again, I am running as an Independent because I refuse to put party over community.
I am committed to safeguarding taxpayer money. Road projects are planned years in advance which helps us budget. In order to be more efficient, the right equipment is identified and sourced. Older worn-out equipment is removed and replaced. I work with other Townships & Municipalities on sharing the burden on both manpower & equipment, this saves us money.
My only promise if reelected April 1st, is to continue the conservative stewardship of your taxpayer money while providing the service we all pay for and expect.
