“Several businesses in the Roscoe community urged me to run for re-election. I am running on the Republican slate.”

Bob Nowicki, current Roscoe Township Supervisor, wants to continue serving the community. He is running for a second four-year term. In 2021, he was elected to succeed Jim Benkovich.

Other candidates on the Republican slate are John Guevara for Highway Commissioner, Shelly Taylor for Clerk, and Greg Ragan, John Ballano, Dave Benjamin and Scot Sallinger for Trustees.

Bob is running on the message of "controlling wasteful spending" at Founders Park in Roscoe, which he sees as a Republican value.

During his present term, he oversaw the construction of the Roscoe Township Community Center, 4562 Elevator Road, on the 17- acre site. Since that time, the township has added trails and walking paths, a controversial pavilion, and restoration of the 1841 Robert Cross house, which is now the home of the Roscoe Township Historical Society.

Bob and his wife, Betsy, have lived in Chicory Hills subdivision in Roscoe for several years. They are parents of two grown sons. Both boys are graduates of Hononegah High School.

Bob is the former owner of True Value Hardware in Roscoe. He now is the owner of Nowicki Storage and Rental in Roscoe.

Roscoe Township maintains township roads, three cemeteries: Pinnacle Hill, Willowbrook and Roscoe Township Cemetery, maintains three township parks -Kelly Meyers Park, Robert Cross Park, Founders Park - as well as Hononegah Recreation Path and Stone Bridge Trail.

“I love my job and hope to remain as supervisor for four more years,” says Bob.
