Limitless Energy: Local Card show brings community together in Roscoe
It's a chance to support our local youth, discover new hobbies, and perhaps even find that elusive, rare card.
Spend Saturday inside a room buzzing with collectors, kids, hobbyists, and neighbors who simply love being around one another. That’s exactly what will unfold at the Limitless Card Show, held Saturday May 16, 2026 at Limitless Martial Arts on Elevator Road in Roscoe. For six hours, the building will transform into a lively marketplace of memories, rare finds, and shared excitement—proving once again that even the smallest events can spark the biggest connections.
The show, hosted from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., is expected to draw longtime collectors, and curious first‑timers who wandered in with two dollars and walked out with stories. Rows of tables will be stacked with sports cards, Pokémon favorites, vintage treasures. The atmosphere will feel les like a transaction and more like a reunion—neighbors greeting neighbors, vendors chatting with young collectors, and everyone swapping stories about the “one card that got away.”
Limitless Martial Arts, better known for kicks than card sleeves and top loaders, proved to be an ideal host. The open floor plan gives vendors room to spread out. For many families, parents will be able to share the hobby they grew up with, kids discovering the thrill of the hunt, and vendors offering advice with the kind of patience that makes small‑town events feel personal.
Over ten vendors are signed up to appear including Twisted Games and Collectibles out of Freeport with their cards ready to interact with longtime seasoned collectors or those just learning the hobby. Several vendors noted that Roscoe’s growing interest in collectibles has made shows like this more than just a marketplace—they’ve become community meet‑ups.

Young collectors will proudly be carrying binders and boxes, comparing pulls with friends, and learning the etiquette of the hobby—trading fairly, asking questions, and celebrating each other’s finds. For many, the show will offer a first chance to negotiate a trade or buy a card with their own saved‑up money. The smiles will say it all.
The Limitless Card Show on is shaping up to be a day of community, commerce, and camaraderie, all for a worthy cause. It's a chance to support our local youth, discover new hobbies, and perhaps even find that elusive, rare card. Raffle baskets and door prizes will be available as well.
In a world that moves fast, Saturday’s show will offer a reminder that community doesn’t need to be complicated. Sometimes all it takes is a room full of cards, a few good conversations, and a place where everyone feels welcome.
