Janice Miller: mother of four, registered nurse, and loved to sing
Memorial services will be Saturday afternoon, November 12.
Janice M. Miller of Roscoe, Illinois, was a registered nurse for a number of years and was a faithful wife and stay-at-home mom to her four children.
She went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 5, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
Janice was born January 20th, 1939 in Rockford, Illinois to Donald and Sophia Johnson. Janice graduated from West High School. She eventually married Terrence Miller, her high school sweetheart. They were married for 55 years until his passing in July 2019.

Janice was a devoted follower of Jesus and active member of Morning Star Church in Rockford, Illinois. Janice loved to sing, write poetry and serve in many ways throughout the years.
She is survived by her sons Wade (Sue), Jess (Natalie), daughter Melinda Cygnor (John), six grandchildren – Guy (Nicole), Amber, Ashley (Brock), Eric, Callista (David), Wyatt – and four great grandchildren – Zalena, Jackson, Jace, and Caleb.
Janice was preceded in death by her husband Terrence, her son Montgomery, father Donald, mother Sophia and sister Treasure.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at TLC Living Community of Machesney Park for all of the care and support in the last few months of her life.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 12 at 1 p.m. at Morning Star Church,5500 Newburg Rd., in Rockford, Illinois.
