On the 8-Man Illinois High School Football Coaches Association All State Team, South Beloit senior Kaden Myhres QB/DB made the first team for a second straight season. Although Myhres season ended early due to a late season injury, he still played well enough and put up enough stats to earn the 1st team honor.

As a QB, Kaden Myhres ran 71 times for 1,110 yards and scored 13 TDS.  Through the air he was 18 of 32 for 313 yards and threw for 8 TDs. On defense he snagged three interceptions, returning one for a TD (48 Yards) and forcing a fumble.

Senior Hononegah Indian football player Cole Warren was also voted as an Honorable Mention All-State 7A Football Player for the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association, announced on Nov 14, 2023.

The Hononegah Indians starting quarterback just finished up a very successful season on the gridiron, leading his team to a 11-1 record while throwing for 28 TDs and running for another 5. Cole also led the NIC-10 conference with 2,028 yards passing while throwing for only four interceptions.
