House fire in Roscoe: how you can help

A home burned Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 9, 2025, in the Prairie Ridge subdivision of Roscoe. WIFR reported a dozen fire trucks from several departments were attacking the residential fire on River View Trail, south of Gleasman Road. One person was reportedly treated for smoke inhalation at the four-bedroom brick home near Atwood Golf Course. A Spot Fund has been set up to help the family, at http://spot.fund/kg4h789sc. Resident Danica Basile says, "A devastating fire claimed our home, leaving us with nothing but the clothes on our backs."
