Hoops in South Beloit look to continue on the season success
Basketball madness continues in South Beloit starting on Thursday.
Roundball may have ended already for some area teams but that doesn’t mean you can’t still watch some postseason action.
Starting at 6 pm on Thursday, February 23, South Beloit will be the site for regional boy's basketball action. Second-seeded South Beloit tries to win back-to-back regional titles as they play 9th-seeded Somonauk. The victor plays the winner of the second game of the night: three seeded Durand vs 6th seeded Rockford (Christian Life).
South Beloit boys basketball is 25-5 overall and 5-1 in the Northeastern Conference, having won 9 in a row heading into the showdown on Thursday night. The SOBOS average 59 points per game and only allow 37 per game.
