Bruno Cassioppi had quite a successful time at the U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals from Fargo, North Dakota this week.
The incoming junior wrestler was a state qualifier for Hononegah last year, went 5-1 and outscored his opponents 58-8, and also got four technical fall wins at the Fargodome in Fargo, North Dakota.
Although he fell 8-6 in the semifinals to David Gleason of Missouri, Cassioppi still made All-American status for the fifth time in his career.
In the latest Junior Boys freestyle PIN ratings released just before the U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota, Bruno Cassioppi was rated number 1 in the country for 157 lbs.
