Hononegah Road lane closure from 251 to Cedarbrook
Utility work began Monday on Hononegah Road between IL-251 and Cedar Brook Road.
The Winnebago County Highway Department announces:
The outer westbound lane of Hononegah Road between N. 2nd Street (IL-251) and Cedarbrook Road [almost to Baneberry Drive and Schnuck's] will be closed for utility work. The work is scheduled to start on Monday, Dec. 27, 2021 and is anticipated to be completed on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021. Hononegah Road will remain open to traffic; however delays should be expected. The duration of the work and lane closure is dependent on the weather. Motorists should use caution and be prepared to stop.
