Hononegah Purple & Gold Fest Set for Thursday
Hononegah Community High School will welcome students, families and the community to its annual Purple & Gold Fest on Thursday, August 20, 2026.
The event begins at 5 p.m. at Hononegah High School, 307 Salem St. in Rockton. Admission is free.
Thursday’s schedule
- 5:00–5:45 p.m. — Volleyball, all levels, in the Fieldhouse
- 5:00–5:45 p.m. — Soccer, all levels, on Kelsey Field
- 5:45–6:05 p.m. — Girls Flag Football
- 6:05–6:30 p.m. — Parade line-up
- 6:30–7:00 p.m. — Purple & Gold Parade, staff introductions, Princess Hononegah performance, band-school song and National Anthem
- 7:00–7:10 p.m. — Recognition
- 7:10–7:25 p.m. — Cheerleaders, all levels
The Hononegah Booster Club will have concessions open, giving attendees an opportunity to grab food and drinks while supporting the school’s programs.
The Purple & Gold Fest is an annual celebration of Hononegah students, athletes, staff and the school community as the new school year and fall activities get underway.
