The South Beloit High School has celebrated their homecoming week with a series of dress days from the 7th to the 11th of October: Class by Color day on Monday, Holiday Day on Tuesday, Character Day on Wednesday, Rhyme Without Reason Day on Thursday, and School Spirit Day on Friday. The classes competed on participation, with seniors beating the teachers, and juniors coming in third.

During Spirit Week, South Beloit's powderpuff and boys volleyball games took place, with seniors winning the volleyball game.

Leading up to the game, the South Beloit Homecoming Parade featured the South Beloit first responders, along with the autumn athletic teams from the SOBOs. Kids from the Clark, Riverview, and Blackhawk Elementary schools and the South Beloit Jr. High lined up on the streets of the Misty Meadows neighborhood. Families also waited down Dorr Rd as the passing floats tossed candy.

After the parade, the middle school and high school participated in their pep rally, with games like Tug of War, Pyramid Race, and Dodgeball among others.

The Homecoming football game, October 11, 2024, followed the tailgate party hosted by the SOBO Athletic Club. The South Beloit SOBOs football team were down 0-16 in the first half, and ended the game with a box score of 0-40. This sad game for the SOBOs still only set the team 6-2, however, putting them in 3rd for their conference.
