Home on Hayloft moves to Main Street in Rockton
Home on Hayloft is a warm and inviting little vintage store in Rockton, IL.
Home on Hayloft has found a new home in Rockton. Home on Hayloft originated four years ago in a barn located south of Rockton on Steward Rd. The property is owned by Connie Davison. The shop’s name comes from Hayloft Lane where the family once lived.
Davison and her daughter Alex Krahl filled the barn with antiques, farm-style décor, gift items and clothing. Vintage-seekers loved shopping at the barn.
There was only one problem: it was only open one day a month.
But recently, Home on Hayloft found a new home at 109 W. Main St. in downtown Rockton. Alex opened a warm and inviting little vintage store on Nov. 5, 2021. Most of the treasures found in the original barn location can now be found at the new location.
The new Home on Hayloft is full of lifestyle products, hand-made items, cool, cozy and casual clothing, vintage décor and gifts, with a little Boho thrown in. Kind of like a neighborhood Etsy store.
Store hours are 10:00 A.M – 4:00 PM Wednesday through Sunday.
Krahl always has a sale going on. She is currently offering "12 Days of Deals." The sale runs through Sunday, Dec. 19. In keeping with the season, it’s a good bet that ornaments and Christmas items will be among the sale items.
