Holy Week and Easter Services

The holiest week of the Christian calendar is coming soon. It all begins with Palm Sunday, which falls this year on March 29. On Palm Sunday we celebrate Jesus' triumphant arrival in Jerusalem. Thursday, April 2 brings Maundy Thursday, the commemoration of Jesus washing the feet of the Apostles and their last supper together. Friday, April 3 Jesus' sacrifice of his earthly life by crucifixion is commemorated.

Join us at Roscoe United Methodist on Palm Sunday at 8:30 or 10:00 AM for worship of Jesus Christ including waving of palms. Maundy Thursday and Good Friday our worship services will be at 7 PM. Easter morning a brief worship service at 7 AM with Holy Communion will be followed by a light breakfast of cinnamon rolls, quiche and fruit in Harman Hall. Our 8:30 and 10:00 AM services will feature Holy Communion and music by our Chancel Choir as we celebrate our risen Savior. Holy Communion is open to all in the United Methodist Church.
