Multiple law enforcement and emergency response agencies converged Thursday, evening, at the intersection of Route 251 and Hononegah Road in Roscoe following an incident that resulted in one suspect being taken into custody.
Witnesses reported a significant police presence in the area as agencies, including the Roscoe Police Department, Machesney Park Police Department, Winnebago County Sheriff's Office, and Harlem-Roscoe Fire Department and EMS personnel, responded to the scene. Rockton-Roscoe News Staff were able to visually confirm a suspect was taken into custody; however, no additional information regarding the nature of the incident, potential charges, or whether any injuries occurred was immediately available.
