Fall Festival is just around the corner
Thousands expected on Main Street for Fall Festival Parade

The Roscoe Lions Club is looking for exhibitors for the Fall Festival. The event will be September 10, 11, 12, 2021 at Leland Park. Booth space is $140 for all three days, electricity is an extra $35. If you are interested in a space, please message them on Facebook or email them with your name, company and email address and they will send you the application. Tupperware and Mary Kay are already represented. You don't need to be a retail business to participate. If you work for a company that wants to promote for the 3 day event, please consider joining them. 

You can also sign up for the parade, which begins to line up at 10:00 am. All roads on the Main Street parade route will be closed to vehicle traffic beginning at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, September 12, 2021. The parade steps off at 11:00 a.m., moving northbound from Bridge and Main Streets, and ending at Williams Street near Main Street Square.

Please enter the parade route at McDonald Rd and Main St. S​​​omeone will be there to direct you to your assigned location. The parade starts at 11:00 am at Main and Bridge Streets .

According to Deputy Police Chief Sam Hawley, a barricade at Hodges Run and Main Street will guide southbound motorists away from the parade route before they reach Williams Street. From Hodges Run, motorists can take 2nd Street south toward the festival site at Leland Park or travel north on 2nd Street to Elevator Road.

The intersection from 251 to Williams Street will also be closed, keeping children safe as they climb down from floats at the end of the parade.

Ten minutes before the parade starts at 11:00 a.m., Bridge Street will close to east and west traffic as well. Drivers on Belvidere Road/Bridge Street can cross Main Street at Grove Street instead, turning south onto Vine, Pearl, or Mulberry Streets.

McDonald Road and Elevator Road will remain open.
