On Tuesday and Thursday, the Roscoe VFW & RREACH are asking for your support in helping to collect much-needed blood for our communities. The need for blood never ends.
Organizers say there are still a few slots available. Blood donations will take place at the Roscoe VFW, 11385 2nd Street, Roscoe, IL 61073
One out of seven hospital patients need blood. Anyone in good health, at least 17 years old (or 16 years old with parental consent – click here for consent form), and at least 110 pounds may donate whole blood every 56 days.
For appointments call Chuck Ingle at 815-979-7152 or Kayla Cotone at 815-543-0861
Please bring a photo ID, eat a hearty meal, and drink plenty of liquids before donating!
The actual blood donation usually takes less than ten minutes. The entire process from the time you sign in to the time you leave takes about an hour.
