Strong spirits: every day a gift, every day an adventure

Many of us get overwhelmed with life as it comes rushing at us every day. Others of us are bored, as each day seems pretty much like every other day. Some of us are living burdened with regrets from the past. And others of us are frozen with fear or indecision about the future... stuck right where we are.

I believe that God intends us to live life fully, and freely every single day.

"Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes." Jesus to his followers (Matthew 6:34 (The Message translation)

"I came so that they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of." Jesus to his followers (John 10:10 (the Message translation)

"This is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24)

Every day has more adventure, more wonder, more blessing than we can ever imagine. We need but let him lead us into it, moment by moment, day by day, trusting him in all circumstances, especially the hard ones. After all, if everything was easy, it wouldn't be an adventure!
